Custom Treatments

Most of us have seen the movies where a retinal scan image is used to identify individuals. The same idea is used with Custom Guided WaveFront WaveScan technology. WaveFront guided procedures use the WaveScan diagnostic instrument to measure the refractive error and wavefront aberrations of the human eye - these measurements identify “higher order” aberration or unique irregularities of each eye so concise that your right eye would be treated differently than your left.

Wavefront technology was originally developed for use in high powered telescopes to reduce distortions when viewing distant objects in space. This technology has been applied to laser vision correction. Like your DNA or “fingerprint of your vision” custom treatments tailor your treatment to correct the aberrations discovered in your individual eye.

Custom treatments are available for LASIK and PRK.
